The rooms are spacious and very clean. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful (especially at the front desk). The location is convenient with a streetcar stop right outside the hotel. It was easy to get around. The coffee shop in the hotel served good coffee and pastries.
The bar hours were limited. It closed too early. There were no convenient options for late-night drinks or snacks nearby.

The room featured a big bathroom with two sinks. The restaurant close to the hotel offered tasty ceviche. The hotel gave free coffee, which I found a nice detail.
The absence of an employee at the bar during pool hours was unexpected.

unsafe neighborhoodunfriendly staff
the neighborhood did feel unsafe at night, so i walked quickly. i was charged a fee to store my luggage. even though it was only a couple of dollars per item, it felt nickel-and-diming. the staff member at the front desk didn't smile. it.

the staff could have been friendlier and more helpful. the pool was so dirty, i could not swim in it (this was a big letdown). i definitely did not feel safe leaving the hotel.

The location is pretty convenient. it is an easy walk to many main attractions! staff members were helpful finding me a more economical parking solution nearby. That was appreciated. the rooftop pool was heated and amazing. i really liked that.
I noticed some dust and mould in the shower, it was a bit of a let down. But did not ruin my trip.
